Many of those who earn their living in film do so working for themselves. At this free one-day event you can explore what it takes to be a freelancer in the film and moving image industries, getting inspiration and advice from professionals in a huge range of fields – from art to animation, from gaming to graphics. Includes tips on managing your money and marketing yourself, and a session with award-winning animators the Brothers McLeod.
This course is free of charge to successful applicants, who must be aged between 16 and 25. Adventures in Freelancing is particularly targeted at those who are not currently in education or employment. If you would like to apply please write telling us why you’d like to take part in the event and how it would help you, and send to firstname.lastname@example.org with CAREERS LAB in the subject. Your application should arrive no later than 1pm on Friday 16th September (deadline extended).
