Bryson DeChambeau is one of the biggest names in golf — and not just because of his major wins, including the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Open victories in 2020 and 2024.DeChambeau has also gained a wide following for his methodical and meticulous approach to the game.

He studies and optimizes everything, with the help of a physics degree, going so far as to 3D-print his own club heads. Starting last year, he’s added an AI-powered coaching tool that studies the finest points of his biomechanics.

Now, DeChambeau is kicking off a partnership with Google Cloud to expand his AI aspirations — like developing a version of the AI coach that could run on a smartphone for near-instant on-course feedback.

“I’m actually making interpretations and iterating on my golf swing with the data that’s presented to me, minutes before my tee time,” DeChambeau says.
