iPhone 16 Price and Availability in India
The new iPhone 16 series will be available for pre-order soon, with sales starting on September 20, 2024. In the United States, the pricing for the models starts as follows:
- iPhone 16: Rs 79,900 with EMI options starting from Rs 12,483/month
- iPhone 16 Plus: Rs 89,900 with EMI options starting from Rs 14,150/month
Further, there is an additional trade-in offer ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 67,500. No-cost EMI is also availible for these latest iPhone models.
iPhone 16 Design and Display
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus feature a sleek design with “aerospace-grade aluminum” and a new color-infused back glass available in ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black. The iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the iPhone 16 Plus offers a larger 6.7-inch screen. Both models support a peak brightness of 2000 nits and can dim to as low as 1 nit for better visibility in low-light conditions.A notable addition is the Action Button, which allows users to quickly access various functions such as voice memos, song identification, or translation. This button can also be customized for different shortcuts or app functionalities.
New 48-Megapixel Main Camera
The iPhone 16 series comes with a significant upgrade in camera technology. The standard models boast a 48-megapixel main camera that combines 48MP and 12MP photos into a clearer 24MP image.
