Nothing on Thursday (February 13, 2025) announced that its upcoming smartphone Phone 3a will ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. However, the London-based tech startup did not specify the exact name of the processor in the Nothing Phone 3a.

“I’m happy to announce that we are going back to the Qualcomm Snapdragon series with the Phone (3a). Compared to the Phone (2a) Plus it’s going to have 25% faster CPU, and a 72% faster NPU,” said Carl Pei, Nothing’s CEO.

Nothing is expected to launch Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro on March 4 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. The phones will sell on Flipkart in India which the company has already announced.

With the recent unveil of the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform, it is being speculated that the Phone 3a could use this processor. And, for the Phone 3a Pro, it might use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
