Realme unveils a 10,000 mAh concept smartphone with semi-transparent back cover in India

Realme on Tuesday (May 6, 2025) unveiled a 10,000 mAh concept smartphone targeting Indian users with daily battery anxiety. It is believed that this new concept phone will be a part of the upcoming GT 7 series launch in India which is expected soon.

The Realme GT 7 series is likely to bring the new Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 7T to the Indian market. The new upcoming 10,000 mAh concept phone carries the GT branding on it.

Realme had already launched the Realme GT 7 Pro in December last year in India featuring Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

The Chinese smartphone maker said that this new concept phone has under 8.5mm profile and weighs over 200 grams, despite holding a mammoth 10,000 mAh cell inside.

“On the technology front, the concept device is powered by an ultra-high silicon-content anode battery, boasting a 10% silicon ratio and an energy density of 887Wh/L,” the company said.

The prototype also features a semi-transparent back cover, giving a glimpse into the battery and compact mainboard, Realme added.
