Samsung Galaxy F16 5G launched with Dimensity processor and 6 gen OS upgrade

Samsung on Thursday (March 13, 2025) launched the Galaxy F16 5G smartphone in India for the budget segment buyers with features like sAMOLED display and Tap & Pay feature with Samsung Wallet for the first time in this segment.

The South Korean electronics major will offer six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates to the Galaxy F16 5G users.

Galaxy F16 5G has a 6.7 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, a 90 Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness. At back, it features a Ripple Glow Finish.

Galaxy F16 5G comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging support.

Galaxy F16 5G sports a 50 MP main camera along with a 5 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro. It features a 13 MP front camera for selfies.

Samsung has used MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

Galaxy F16 5G will sell in Vibing Blue, Glam Green and Bling Black colours starting ₹12,499 for the 4 GB/128 GB variant. The 6 GB/128 GB model will sell at ₹13,999 while the 8 GB/128 GB unit costs ₹15,499.

It will sell on Flipkart, Samsung and across select retail stores.
