Samsung has introduced a host of AI features including live translate and ‘Click to Search’ for its TVs at CES 2025. All of this falls under their Samsung Vision AI which will be a part of their flagship models like Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED models and The Frame, according to a company blog post.

The Live Translate feature offers real-time translation to users during live broadcasts and is currently available in seven different languages. It works by translating closed captions in a broadcast instead of listening to the audio directly.

The “Click to Search” feature can identify people, objects and locations on screen and offer real-time info to the viewer. On Samsung phones, a similar feature was called “Circle to Search”.  In fact, several other AI features have already been introduced in Samsung’s phones and tablets earlier.

In its TV remote controls, Samsung has also added a dedicated AI button for shopping, content and discovery recommendations.

Additionally, a new AI Karaoke feature will automatically remove vocals in a song and allow users to use their smartphone as a mic.

.The company also said they will be bringing in other features like AI-powered voice removal and audio subtitles for the visually impaired so it cam “analyse subtitles, isolate voices and adjust the reading speed for a seamless experience.

”Samsung hasn’t specified if these features will be integrated into their older TV sets.
