2025 is to be kick off on strong note for the smartphone segment. The South Korean tech giant Samsung should be launching its flagship S series smartphones in January. The line-up which should include the S25, S25+ and the mighty S25 Ultra is well awaited. In this article, let’s learn what we can expect from the top-of-the-line S25 Ultra.

Display & Design

The S25 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. This will be a flat-screen display continuing with the application we saw on the S24 Ultra. The display will also come with an ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor.

As for the design, the edges of the smartphone are expected to be flat, and not curved like the S24 Ultra.

There will be an S-pen and the device will have an IP68 rating as you expect from a flagship.

Performance Specs – Processor, OS & Battery

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite with a ‘For Galaxy’. The device will run on Android 15 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI. Like last year we can expect to see Galaxy AI features. On the S24 Ultra, we saw 7 years of OS and 7 years of security upgrades. It wouldn’t be surprising if we see this again. We can expect a 5000 mAh battery on the S25 Ultra with wireless charging support. The device might see an upgrade from its current 45W wired charging support.

Camera Specs

The S25 Ultra is expected to have a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom. It may also have a 100 MP Space Zoom feature. The front camera might be a 12MP shooter.
